A third-generation silversmith from Taxco, Mikelo carries forward the legacy of a town that has been synonymous with fine sterling since the 16th century. Introduced to the craft as a child in his father’s workshop, he grew to see silver as part of his identity, just as it had been for his father and grandfather. Around 2010, after a difficult economic period, Mikelo began designing his own jewelry, launching a zodiac-inspired collection that revealed his natural talent for translating imagination into silver. Today, he creates original pieces in 950 silver, each one hand-forged with traditional techniques and inspired by nature, faith, and the mysteries of the universe. The moon, his recurring muse, informs a collection that seeks to bring peace, harmony, and balance to the wearer. By blending heritage craftsmanship with his own creative vision, Mikelo offers jewelry that reflects beauty, originality, and the enduring spirit of Taxco.

Handcrafted in Mexico from 925 sterling silver and leather cord, this pendant necklace has an adjustable length from 15 to 28 inches with a 4mm width, and the pendant measures 1.6 inches in length and 1.3 inches in width. It has a high-polish finish and secures with a sliding knot.
