Today, Ortiz is dedicated to creating collections that raise awareness of endangered species, combining artistry with environmental advocacy. For him, jewelry is both a cultural legacy and a call to action. Living and working in Mexico City, he trains apprentices and cultivates a new generation of artisans, ensuring the craft endures.
