Born in Jalisco in 1971, Cesar Godoy discovered his passion for jewelry as a teenager, spending hours in local silversmiths’ workshops observing and practicing techniques. He was especially drawn to the lost-wax method, which became central to his craft. In time, Cesar and his family opened their own workshop, where he continued developing his skills and creating original designs. By age 24, his collections were already being recognized and appreciated by the public. To expand his artistic vocabulary, he also studied sculpture and experimented with diverse materials. Deeply inspired by pre-Hispanic cultures, Cesar reinterprets traditional motifs through a contemporary lens, creating jewelry that bridges heritage and modernity. His collections range from ethnic-inspired to avant-garde, each piece a reflection of cultural pride and artistic innovation. Through his work, Cesar seeks to share the richness of Mexico’s history and artistry with the world.

Handcrafted in Mexico from 925 sterling silver and a polyester suede cord, this necklace features a rolo chain that is 17.8 inches long with a 2-inch extender and a width of 2mm. The cord is 31.5 inches long with a 3mm width. The pendant measures 0.8 inches in length and 0.8 inches in width and has a combination finish. It secures with a spring ring clasp.
