Born in Lima in 1962, this Peruvian jewelry designer first pursued a career in law before discovering her true calling in the arts. Inspired by a childhood spent in Huancavelica, surrounded by mountains, flowers, and skies that stirred her imagination, she left her legal career in the 1990s to embrace creativity full time. Self-taught and influenced by Peru’s ancestral art as well as international design, she developed a distinctive style rooted in cultural identity and natural forms. Her journey has not been without hardship: after surviving a cerebral effusion in 2016, she returned to her craft with renewed passion, seeing jewelry as both an expression of love and a second chance at life. Today, her designs blend tradition, nature, and resilience, offering wearers jewelry infused with meaning and artistry.
Handcrafted in 925 sterling silver with cultured pearls, these earrings measure 1.8 inches L x 0.5 inches W x 0.2 inches D and weigh 0.13 oz. They feature a high polish finish and a hook earring style.
