Born in Cajamarca in the 1970s, this Peruvian jewelry artist grew up during decades of political upheaval, hyperinflation, and unrest, experiences that shaped his appreciation for resilience and creativity. Drawn to art from a young age, he was captivated by engravings, church decorations, and the richness of nature, influences that later guided him toward jewelry design. After formal training in a jewelry school, he refined his skills through workshops with Italian and Spanish masters, developing a style that fuses technical precision with artistic expression. His silverwork has earned national acclaim, including the President of the Republic Award at Peru’s 2011 National Silver Competition. Today, he continues to create pieces that transcend adornment, viewing jewelry as wearable sculpture that carries the artist’s soul and invites emotional connection.
