They feature a voluptuous hook in high-polish sterling silver that ends in a petite, elongated bead crafted from red resin. This piece is a testament to the artisan's creativity and her ability to sustain a family legacy through her craft.
Born in Denpasar, this Balinese artisan grew up in a family of silversmiths, watching her parents design, craft, and sell jewelry to visitors from around the world. From childhood she helped with packaging and sizing, gradually learning design from her mother and the art of sales from her father. These early lessons instilled in her both technical skill and a passion for creativity. Beyond jewelry, she also loves cooking, seeing parallels between composing flavors and shaping artistic forms. In 2020, she faced the devastating loss of her mother, who had been both mentor and role model. Carrying her mother’s words of perseverance, she now continues the family tradition, working alongside her father to sustain their workshop. Each piece she creates honors Balinese artistry while preserving the legacy of resilience, joy, and gratitude her mother passed on.
Handcrafted in 925 sterling silver with a resin bead, these hook earrings have a high-polish finish and measure 1.6 inches in length by 0.2 inches in width.
