Born in Israel, this globetrotting artisan cultivated her love of jewelry while traveling through Africa and the Americas, experimenting with natural and found materials such as seeds, bamboo, ceramics, and bone. In 1995, she arrived in Mexico and fell in love with its vibrant artisanal traditions, eventually discovering Taxco, the country’s renowned jewelry capital. There, she enrolled at the National University (UNAM), where she studied design, art history, lapidary, engraving, and silversmithing, graduating in 1999. Her collections, celebrated throughout Mexico, reflect her unique style, characterized by geometry, textures, and contrasts. She embraces jewelry as a form of personal expression, transforming traditional forms into contemporary statements while always seeking beauty and elegance. For her, jewelry is both art and storytelling, a medium through which she shares her experiences and perspectives. Each piece is a renewal of tradition, carrying her signature mark of individuality.
Handcrafted in Mexico, these hook earrings are made from .925 sterling silver and dyed lapis lazuli with a combination finish. The total weight is 0.25 oz. Each earring measures 1.3 inches L x 0.6 inches W x 0.2 inches D.
