Inspired by his father, an archaeologist and museum curator, he grew fascinated with ancient motifs and began crafting jewelry as a young man, guided by the writings of Julio C. Tello. What began as a hobby became a lifelong vocation, marked by the patient study of Andean silversmithing traditions. His work, rooted in hammering, stamping, and chiseling, replicates ancestral designs while ensuring they can be shared internationally without infringing on national patrimony. Exhibited in Lima’s museums and galleries, his pieces carry the essence of Peru’s ancient cultures, combining history with artistry.
