Nancy and her family founded Paola Siza, a jewelry workshop named in honor of their first child, Paola. “Siza” means “flower” in Quechua, symbolizing the blossoming of a new chapter in their lives. Together with her husband Richard and brother-in-law Edwin, Nancy brings years of experience from working in jewelry workshops to specialize in silver filigree, a delicate art form that weaves fine strands of silver into lace-like designs. Each piece is created entirely by hand with uncompromising attention to detail and quality. Beyond crafting exquisite jewelry, the family aspires to expand their workshop, providing jobs for neighbors and training opportunities for young people interested in preserving this heritage. For them, jewelry is not just adornment but also legacy—a way to celebrate Peruvian artistry and ensure its continuity for future generations.
