These Round Ginger Dichroic Art Glass Dangle Earrings from Mexico 'Jolly World' by Independent Artisans are a pair of dangle earrings with a world of joyous and radiant energies. Designed by Debora and Marco, the artisans work with dichroic glass to create these minimalist accessories. The round shape and sterling silver hooks allow for a chic look, and the piece celebrates innovation and artistry.
Debora, from Argentina, and Marco, from Mexico, met through their shared fascination with glass and built both a partnership in art and in life. Debora’s background in fine arts and Marco’s career in veterinary medicine converged in their research into dichroic glass — an ultra-thin metallic oxide coating originally developed for aerospace. Drawn to its unique ability to refract color and light, they began experimenting with panels and sculptures before launching a line of jewelry that captured the material’s luminous qualities. Their early struggles gave way to recognition after presenting their work in Taxco, Mexico’s famed silver city, where their bold fusion of silver and dichroic glass was warmly received. Today, the duo operates their own workshop, crafting vibrant, light-infused jewelry that celebrates innovation and artistry. Their designs are characterized by rainbow reflections that shift with every angle, each piece embodying their love of experimentation, craft, and collaboration.
Handcrafted from dichroic glass and .925 sterling silver, these hook earrings measure 1.1 inches L x 0.4 inches W and have a high-polish finish.
