Pink Chalcedony and Sterling Silver Teardrop Dangle Earrings 'Graceful Tear in Pink' These 'Graceful Tear in Pink' dangle earrings are a gentle and elegant design by Indian artisan Alok Jain. Polished pink chalcedony gemstones, like drops of dew, are capped in sterling silver and descend from a dainty sterling silver flower. The earrings are presented on elongated kidney wires and add a graceful touch to any look.
From the age of 17, this Indian artisan has been immersed in the world of handicrafts, beginning with sandalwood and brass before finding his true calling in jewelry. Inspired by the natural world, his designs often feature organic motifs that blend artistry with elegance. A career highlight came in 1995, when the Sultan of Brunei commissioned his work, a project that brought together a team of artisans in a two-month collaboration that remains unforgettable. In 2002, he joined Novica, an experience he credits with transforming his craft from simple jewelry into true art. Over two decades, he has grown from working with a single helper to leading a small team of artisans, instilling in them the importance of precision and uncompromising quality. Today, his designs reflect a balance between timeless style and evolving fashion, while his workshop provides opportunity and livelihood for the families who bring each creation to life.
Handcrafted in India from 925 sterling silver and dyed chalcedony with a high-polish finish. The earrings feature kidney earwires and measure 2 inches L x 0.3 inches W x 0.3 inches D.
