These Pair of Macrame Wristband Bracelets Hand-woven in Peru 'Imperial City' are a colorful and charming accessory. Hand-woven by the Amantaní collective, this pair of unisex wristband bracelets features multicolored geometric and chevron-like patterns using the macramé technique. The piece, which is a source of empowerment, is a beautiful representation of the artisans' commitment to preserving Andean textile traditions.
Founded in 2014 in Ccorca, Cusco, the Amantaní project brings together 45 artisans—44 women and one man—dedicated to preserving Andean textile traditions. Drawing on skills passed down through generations, they transform wool into vibrant handwoven bracelets and suitcase tags using macramé techniques. More than a craft collective, Amantaní is a source of empowerment, offering artisans stable income in a region with limited opportunities. Their work sustains not only families but also the financial stability of the broader community organization behind the project. Each piece reflects courage, strength, and the cultural richness of the Andes, uniting artisans in a shared purpose. Through their textiles, they celebrate heritage while building a sustainable future for themselves and future generations.
Handcrafted in Peru with 100% acrylic. Each bracelet is adjustable from 7 to 8.8 inches in length. They have a tie closure. Color, size, and motif variations are to be expected.
