Born in 1974 in a village in eastern Bali, this artisan grew up surrounded by rivers, paddy fields, and the island’s rich craft traditions. As a child, she strung seeds into necklaces and bracelets for friends, sparking a lifelong passion for jewelry. Together with her husband, she now runs a family workshop where over 40 artisans collaborate, blending evolving trends with the unique character of Balinese design. Inspired by her coastal upbringing, she incorporates stingray motifs and elements from Klungkung’s fishing village of Jumpai, connecting jewelry to the sea and cultural heritage. Despite challenges during the pandemic, her dedication to family and craft never wavered. Today, her designs unite creativity and tradition, offering pieces that reflect both resilience and Bali’s enduring artistry.
Handcrafted in 925 sterling silver and blue topaz, with a combination finish. The ring front measures 0.5 inches L x 0.3 inches W x 0.2 inches H with a band width of 4 mm W. The blue topaz is one carat.
