Born in Lima in 1969, Marianela Vargas Balarezo has always felt a deep calling to jewelry-making. Although she explored other paths, a health challenge in 2003 redirected her toward the art she had loved since childhood. She began with private classes and workshops, quickly becoming captivated by the expressive potential of silver. Marianela describes her designs as bold and extroverted, infused with a sense of vitality that mirrors her own resilience. She employs a wide range of silversmithing techniques to bring her creations to life, focusing on originality, expressiveness, and beauty. Her jewelry has been recognized in Peru and exhibited internationally, including at the International Jewelry Show in Hong Kong.
