Colombian-born designer Katherine Satizabal Narváez has built a life and career in Mexico, where she transforms silver into what she calls “small sculptures.” Trained in Industrial Design at Universidad del Valle, she began her career in mechanical design, mastering techniques such as gearing, mechanisms, and 3D modeling. That foundation now informs her kinetic jewelry — pieces that move, open, or reveal hidden details. Working primarily in sterling silver, she combines traditional hand-finishing with modern 3D design to create pieces that blend engineering with artistry. Each jewel, marked with her initials NASAKA, reflects her fascination with nature’s textures and her passion for precision. For Katherine, designing is both technical and deeply personal: each piece evolves like a child under her care until it is ready to meet the world. Her dream is to expand kinetic jewelry as a recognized art form while inspiring trust and delight in those who wear her creations.

Handcrafted in Mexico with .925 sterling silver. The necklace is 19 inches long. The pendant measures 1.2 inches in length and 0.4 inches in width. It has a high-polish finish.
