Born in Phrae, northern Thailand, Kanjana Janphiratikul’s journey as an artisan began with resilience and determination. After working in Bangkok as a housekeeper, she moved to Chiang Mai in search of new opportunities, where a chance encounter with a jeweler introduced her to the art of threading gemstones. Guided by his generosity and her own persistence, she mastered the craft, supplementing her learning with countless hours of self-study through books and online tutorials. Today, Kanjana creates woven jewelry combining waxed cord with carefully selected gemstones, blending durability with striking color and texture. Working from a small home studio, she employs two assistants and trains local women, offering them income and skills that strengthen her community. Married with two sons, she balances family life with her dream of one day opening a larger workshop and gallery. Each piece she makes reflects her perseverance, her gratitude, and her belief in jewelry as a source of joy and opportunity.

Handcrafted in Thailand with dyed jasper, waxed polyester cord, and 18K gold plated .925 sterling silver hooks. Each earring measures 2.4 inches in length and 1.4 inches in width. Colors, size, and/or motifs may vary slightly. They have a high-polish finish.
