This Hmong Cross Stitched Cotton Wristband Bracelet from Thailand 'Hmong Maze' is a traditional and captivating accessory. Designed by Nulee, this cotton wristband bracelet features geometric patterns in brown and white, created in the style of Hmong cross stitching. The piece, which blends sustainability with cultural heritage, is a beautiful representation of the artisan's resilience, innovation, and cultural pride.
Nulee, a young designer from the Hmong tribe of northern Thailand, has been immersed in handicrafts since childhood. Born in Nan Province in 1995, she learned traditional batik from her parents, who have long created and sold textiles. After high school, she apprenticed with Simone Buys, gaining skills that shaped her approach to design and entrepreneurship. Today, she creates batik cotton jewelry and bags using recycled materials from her family’s work, blending sustainability with cultural heritage. Passionate about community, she teaches and employs local women, offering them fair income and a chance to support their families. Inspired by daily life, family, and tradition, Nulee’s designs reflect resilience, innovation, and cultural pride. Her dream is to represent a new generation of Hmong entrepreneurs, preserving heritage while reaching international audiences with authentic handmade art.
Handcrafted in Thailand with cotton, leather cord, and a raintree wood button. The bracelet adjusts from 7.8 to 8.8 inches in length. It should be kept away from water. Natural variations are expected.
