These Handmade Rainbow Moonstone Dangle Earrings 'Rain Goddess' are an elegant and luminous accessory. Designed by Rakesh Rana, the earrings feature polished cabochons of rainbow moonstone framed in sterling silver and poised on sterling silver posts. The pieces, which blend tribal, traditional, and contemporary aesthetics, are a beautiful representation of the artisan's dedication and cultural richness.
Born in Himachal Pradesh in 1979, this artisan’s journey into jewelry began after leaving behind a career in engineering and IT. Drawn to traditional crafts since childhood, he first immersed himself in Kashmiri carpet weaving before relocating to Jaipur, where friends introduced him to the world of silver jewelry. There, he spent years observing and learning from master artisans before establishing his own workshop in 2016. With a team of eight assistants, his wife, and his brother, he creates sterling silver jewelry adorned with precious gemstones, blending tribal, traditional, and contemporary aesthetics. His process combines classic techniques like melting, wirework, and beading with innovative design, always attentive to evolving trends and client tastes. Beyond artistry, his workshop provides stable employment for local artisans, helping families secure education and livelihoods. Each piece is a reflection of dedication, cultural richness, and the timeless beauty of handcrafted jewelry.
Handcrafted in India with .925 sterling silver and rainbow moonstone. Each earring measures 1.3 inches in length and 0.6 inches in width. Inclusions in the gemstone are normal.
