Born in Purwokerto, Central Java, and raised in Jakarta, Agus Suryanto discovered his love for design as a child during visits to textile markets with his sister. By the age of 15 he was assisting in her custom clothing business, sparking a lifelong pursuit of fashion. After completing studies at one of Jakarta’s oldest dressmaking schools, he and his sister launched their first ready-to-wear collection. His work draws from Indonesia’s diverse archipelago, weaving traditional patterns into modern silhouettes, with scarves and shawls crafted in silk and linen. Influences from Southeast Asia further enrich his palette of textures and colors. The result is apparel that feels contemporary yet steeped in ritual and tradition. Each piece is a wearable story, balancing casual elegance with the cultural heritage of the region.
Handcrafted in Indonesia with brass and stainless steel hooks. Each earring measures 1.8 inches in length and 0.6 inches in width.
