This Handmade African Wood Pendant Necklace 'Kasapa' is a symbolic and admirable accessory. Designed by Ralph J. Ashong, the pendant symbolizes "closed lips," referencing the Akan saying, "Though lips are meant for talking, speech must be seasoned." The image is colored with a clay solution on a hand-carved teak wood pendant that hangs from an adjustable leather cord. The piece, which champions sustainable practices, is a beautiful representation of the artisan's commitment to culture, environment, and social impact.
