The son of a jeweler, this Costa Rican designer grew up surrounded by silverwork and inherited his father’s passion for the craft. His father specialized in traditional and pre-Hispanic motifs, but in 2014 he began developing his own style, inspired by Costa Rica’s flora, fauna, and architecture. Silver became not only his material but also his greatest passion, a medium through which he could fully express his imagination. Despite challenges, including his mother’s battle with cancer, he found strength in family and faith to pursue his craft. His jewelry is created with eco-friendly techniques, reflecting both innovation and responsibility. For him, each piece is an artistic journey—an opportunity to honor his heritage while offering contemporary designs that resonate with Costa Rican identity. His work embodies resilience, creativity, and cultural pride.
