From childhood, Alvaro helped string and sell bracelets, learning the discipline and pride of artisan life. Over time, he developed his own workshop, leading a production chain that merges traditional Mayan embroidery and beading with modern accessory design. Inspired by the handwoven huipiles of his community, his bracelets often incorporate motifs of birds, flowers, and geometric figures. Today, he works alongside his sister and a network of artisans, creating pieces that carry both artistry and emotion. For Alvaro, each handmade piece is more than jewelry—it is a vessel of tradition, sacrifice, and care.
