Born in 1976 in Belayu Village, Tabanan, this Balinese artisan grew up surrounded by rice fields and the weaving traditions of his mother. After his father’s passing, he worked a variety of jobs until meeting an Italian jewelry entrepreneur in 1997, which opened the door to the world of design. Over the years he honed his skills, even exhibiting abroad, and eventually established his own workshop. Known for his frangipani flower motifs and woven flower designs inspired by Balinese songket weaving, he creates silver jewelry accented with gemstones, often recycled when possible. His workshop employs family members and local silversmiths, blending collaborative artistry with traditional motifs given a modern edge. A father of four, he treasures the balance of family life, humor, and creative exploration. For him, customer satisfaction and cultural storytelling through jewelry are inseparable.
