Born to missionary parents on the Venezuela-Brazil border, Marian Zerpa grew up surrounded by indigenous communities and their crafts. Carpentry with her father and exposure to handmade traditions nurtured her creativity from childhood. Eleven years ago, she moved to Costa Rica, where she embraced her new home, becoming a citizen and building a workshop that blends Venezuelan memory with Costa Rican warmth. Inspired by nature and pre-Columbian symbolism, Marian works with wire, stones, and organic forms to create jewelry that carries meaning as well as beauty. Each design is unique, made with dedication and love, reflecting her belief that a piece of jewelry should hold deeper significance for its wearer. Beyond crafting, Marian teaches her techniques to others and works alongside her nieces, passing down her passion. For her, jewelry is more than adornment—it is storytelling, heritage, and a connection to both nature and spirit.

Handcrafted from garnet, copper, and polyester cord with an adjustable sliding knot. The necklace measures 14 inches L to 28 inches L x 2 mm W. The pendant measures 2.8 inches L x 2.2 inches W. Natural stone color and variegation will vary.
