Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, this designer moved to Mexico as a teenager, a transition that infused her artistic vision with the country’s vibrant colors, textures, and traditions. With a background in graphic design, she discovered her passion for silverwork, soon creating jewelry that combined gemstones with elements from Mexico’s artisan heritage. Her innovative approach brought her into collaboration with master craftspeople, blending ancestral techniques with contemporary aesthetics to revitalize traditions at risk of disappearing. Committed to sustainability, she trained young artisans and offered fair wages, ensuring cultural knowledge could be passed to new generations. Expanding beyond jewelry, she also creates handbags and accessories using native fibers and recycled huipiles, which have been featured in leading Mexican fashion magazines and museum shops. Her work bridges past and present, crafting pieces that honor Mexico’s artistic soul while embracing global modernity.
