This Braille Hope band ring by Independent Artisans is an inspired and deeply personal design. Handcrafted from sterling silver, the ring is embossed with the Braille spelling for 'Hope' on the exterior and the English word for 'Hope' engraved on the inside. This design is a perfect example of a collection that balances delicacy and modern appeal with a commitment to community. This ring is more than a piece of jewelry; it is a way to share joy, beauty, and a powerful message of hope with the world, making it a truly unique and meaningful piece.
Jantana, affectionately known as Na, is the youngest of five children in a Thai family of jewelers. Born into a household where silver was shaped by hand, she grew up surrounded by artistry and tradition. After studying and working in the jewelry industry, she moved to Chiang Mai to collaborate with her sister and brother-in-law, joining their workshop of silversmiths who work together like family. While assisting them, Jantana began developing her own designs, each handcrafted with care and often admired by museum visitors and contemporary designers alike. She is proud to create opportunities for others, including artisans with disabilities, while preserving her parents’ legacy. Her collections balance delicacy and modern appeal, reflecting both her personal style and her commitment to community. For Jantana, jewelry is not only a family tradition but also a way to share joy, beauty, and craftsmanship with the world.
Handcrafted in Thailand, this ring is made from sterling silver with a brushed-satin finish. The band measures 7 mm wide and weighs 0.18 ounces.
