Known to friends as Rous, this Argentinian-born artisan moved to Guatemala as a child and discovered her passion for transforming discarded materials into vibrant jewelry. She works primarily with recycled CDs, melting and molding them into unique forms, often enriched with droplets of stained-glass acrylic. What began as experimentation has evolved into a distinctive eco-art practice, where no two pieces are ever the same. For Rous, recycling is both an artistic and environmental commitment, reducing pollution while offering new life to what would otherwise be waste. Handcrafted from recycled CDs and equipped with .925 sterling silver hooks, these earrings have a high polish finish and measure 2.2 inches L x 0.9 inches W x 0.2 inches D.
