Fernando and David, sons of Guatemalan artisans, grew up between Guatemala and Los Angeles before choosing to return to their homeland in search of purpose. After witnessing the devastation of the Pacaya Volcano eruption in 2010, they transformed loss into opportunity, creating jewelry from volcanic lava and coconut shell. Their designs combine sustainability with social responsibility, as they dedicate 15 percent of their earnings to building homes for families in rural communities. In their workshop, they collaborate with local artisans, ensuring every step — from design to finishing — reflects both artistry and compassion. Inspired by faith and driven by a desire to serve others, Fernando and David see jewelry as more than adornment. Handcrafted from coconut shell, lava stone, and leather cord with 925 sterling silver accents, this necklace weighs 0.35 oz. The cord chain is 18 inches L and 3 mm W. The pendant measures 1.4 inches L x 1 inch W. Avoid contact with water.
