Introduced to the craft by his father, Ángel has dedicated more than 35 years to perfecting his techniques and now teaches his son, ensuring the legacy endures. Working primarily with borosilicate glass imported from Costa Rica, he transforms raw material into delicate, handcrafted pieces, using simple tools like metal tweezers and immense skill. Nature is his greatest muse, inspiring designs that reflect Costa Rica’s vibrant environment. For Ángel, glasswork is more than a profession—it is a way of life that unites passion, family, and artistry. Each creation embodies patience, precision, and devotion, offering collectors a glimpse of tradition shaped by both Colombian heritage and Costa Rican beauty.
