Born in Bali as the third of five children to a farming family, this silversmith discovered his craft early, apprenticing with his brother during school years. Guided by his teacher’s advice to practice daily, he refined his skills through dedication, eventually building a workshop of his own. Today, he designs and produces jewelry with a team of artisans and relatives, working primarily with silver, but also combining gold, brass, and copper to achieve distinctive contrasts. His inspiration often comes from magazines and contemporary trends, while his technique remains rooted in traditional Balinese silversmithing. Known for designs that carry unique character, he strives to balance innovation with heritage. Now married to a Japanese woman he met through the craft, he continues to support his family and local community through jewelry, offering pieces that reflect resilience, artistry, and the enduring legacy of Bali’s metalwork.

Handcrafted in Indonesia, these earrings are made from copper with 925 sterling silver hooks. They feature a combination finish, measure 1.8 inches L x 0.8 inches W, and secure with hook clasps.
