Domingo Reanda, born in Santiago Atitlán, Sololá, in 1971, grew up in a farming family where craftsmanship was passed down from childhood. By seven he was learning his family’s trade, and at thirteen he mastered the loom, creating stoles with intricate motifs. Drawn to creativity, he also taught himself macramé, later expanding into beadwork as a way to support widowed women affected by conflict. Over the decades, he has crafted necklaces, bags, and bracelets, working alongside his family with looms, pliers, and threads to achieve exceptional quality. Inspired by humanity, nature, and lived experiences, his pieces carry deep cultural resonance and a strong sense of purpose. Today he continues to innovate by researching new colors in glass and stonework, while ensuring his workshop provides meaningful livelihoods. Each creation reflects Guatemala’s indigenous spirit, connecting ancestral tradition with contemporary artistry.

Handcrafted in Guatemala from stainless steel wires, lapis lazuli, quartz, glass beads, crystals, leather cord, and a pinewood bead, this necklace has an adjustable length from 8 inches to 28 inches. The pendant measures 1.9 inches long by 1.1 inches wide and features a sliding knot.
