Carmen Griselda Anocibar, born in Argentina in 1961, has dedicated her life to art as both teacher and creator. A former ceramics professor at the Universidad Nacional de Misiones, she later moved to Lima, where her fascination with jewelry was sparked through classes in silversmithing. Immersing herself in Peru’s rich cultural heritage, she studied both pre-Hispanic and modern techniques, blending silver with natural elements like wood and minerals. Since joining Novica in 2004, Carmen has trained and collaborated with local jewelers, expanding opportunities for artisans while exploring new materials and designs. Her collections reflect a contemporary style influenced by ethnic art, marked by clean lines and contrasting textures inspired by nature. With the support of her partner Gaby, she continues to innovate despite challenges, including the recent pandemic, while remaining committed to jewelry that bridges culture, tradition, and modern artistry.

This necklace is made in Peru from 18k gold-plated copper, leather cord, and a 925 sterling silver clasp. It weighs 0.39 oz and is 18 inches L with a 2 mm W cord. The pendant measures 1.4 inches L x 1.5 inches W x 0.5 inches D.
