The medium, malleable like clay yet transforming to pure silver when kiln-fired, allows her to replicate leaf veins, shells, and organic textures with sculptural precision. Each original piece is cast in silver or bronze using traditional methods, preserving every delicate detail. Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Caitlin carries an innate reverence for the natural world into her work. After years in journalism and design in New York City, she launched Blue Dot Jewelry in Brooklyn, naming it for Earth, our shared “blue marble.” Today she lives in the Hudson Valley with her family, creating jewelry that celebrates wonder, texture, and the quiet beauty of our planet.
