The 'New Colors of Chiang Mai' stretch bracelet by Arshad Ullah showcases the ethereal beauty of 16 carats of luminous moonstone beads. Designed by the Thai artisan, this dazzling piece features a sterling silver-plated bead at the center. Each moonstone is a symbol of transformation, reflecting Arshad's belief in the meaningful power of gemstones.
Arshad Ullah, originally from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in northern Pakistan, grew up surrounded by some of the world’s finest gemstones, from jade and lapis lazuli to tourmaline and nephrite. Although he once aspired to become an engineer, his life changed in 2008 when he moved to Thailand to work with his uncle, a gemstone merchant in Bangkok. There, he immersed himself in the world of gems, discovering their beauty, symbolism, and transformative power. Today, Arshad designs jewelry with a focus on aquamarine and diamond, his favorite stones for their clarity and strength. Gemstones, he believes, teach patience and resilience, qualities he channels into his craft. His work reflects both his cultural heritage and his personal journey, offering jewelry that is as meaningful as it is beautiful.
Made in Thailand, this stretch bracelet features moonstone and a 925 sterling silver-plated brass bead on an elastic cord. It weighs 0.17 oz, has an inner circumference of 6.3 inches, and a total width of 4 mm W.
