This Snake Pendant by Pamela Love gives the serpent a substantial, almost primitive form through hand-worked black glass. The snake has long symbolized transformation, protection, and renewal through its ability to shed its skin, making the motif a natural fit within the brand’s talismanic vocabulary. Individually lampworked, the borosilicate body varies subtly in thickness and form, preserving the maker’s hand within the final object. A woven Japanese silk cord and onyx bead finishes extend the dark monochromatic palette and lend the necklace a tactile, amuletic quality. Wear it long for dramatic effect or shorten the cord to bring the serpent closer to the body.
