This Onyx Cross by Pamela Love carves a cross into deep black onyx, using the stone’s darkness to give the simple motif unusually strong visual contrast. Pamela Love frames the cross through ideas of protection, faith and balance, while onyx is traditionally associated by the brand with grounding and strength. Four recycled natural white diamonds mark north, south, east and west, reinforcing a sense of orientation around the hand-carved intaglio. Each piece is individually made and therefore slightly unique. Available in solid 14K gold or 14K gold over sterling silver, it is conceived as a modern talisman rather than conventional religious jewelry.
