This Charis Ring by Pamela Love creates tension between two contrasting textures, placing a smooth, molten-looking band above a broader braided form so that the upper tier appears almost suspended in motion. The difference between the tightly worked braid and the fluid solid surface gives the ring depth without requiring gemstones, allowing texture, proportion and negative space to define the design. Its layered construction has the impact of stacked rings while remaining one cohesive sculptural piece. Finished in silver, Charis feels cool and architectural, balancing an almost ancient braided reference with the irregular, hand-shaped quality that runs through Pamela Love’s more contemporary metalwork.
New York-based designer Pamela Love founded her eponymous jewelry brand in 2007, inspired by astrology, tarot, and folklore. Her approach to jewelry is rich in symbolism and storytelling. Influenced by travel, she incorporates celestial, spiritual, and terrestrial motifs, creating pieces that are personal and meaningful. Her unique and edgy creations have become popular globally, every piece reflecting her vision, craftsmanship and commitment to sustainability.
