This Bloodstone Amphora by Pamela Love carves an ancient amphora into bloodstone, allowing the vessel motif to emerge from deep green material marked by natural red inclusions. Pamela Love interprets the amphora through abundance, preservation, memory and ritual, while bloodstone is associated within the collection with courage and protection. Four recycled natural white diamonds sit at the cardinal points to bring light and balance around the hand-carved stone. Every intaglio is individually made and therefore unique, emphasizing craftsmanship over uniformity. Available in solid 14K gold or 14K gold over sterling silver, the pendant is designed as a contemporary symbolic object.
