This Lab Grown White Sapphire Ellipse Ring by Aurate explores the tension between fluid metal and precisely cut stone. Two luminous gold-vermeil curves sweep past one another in the brand’s sculptural Ellipse form, meeting around an oval-cut lab-grown white sapphire that becomes the bright focal point of the open composition. Negative space keeps the design airy despite its confident scale, while the bypass construction gives it movement from every angle. Particularly striking worn alone, it can also introduce an architectural curve into a stack dominated by traditional straight bands.
