This Lab Grown Black Sapphire Art Deco Ring by Aurate draws on the strong geometry of Art Deco jewellery without reproducing it too literally. A dramatic lab-grown black sapphire sits within a sculptural ridged bezel, framed by the warmth of 14k gold vermeil. The near-black stone creates a bold tonal centre, while the stepped metalwork around it reinforces the ring’s architectural character. Powerful rather than delicate, it is designed to anchor the hand and works particularly well as the focal point of a ring stack. Worn solo, the interplay of dark stone and polished gold needs little else.
