This Kinetic Ring by Aurate makes movement an integral part of the jewellery rather than merely a visual impression. Two parallel vermeil bands are connected by AAA-quality white sapphires set in open four-prong mounts that glide along the rails, subtly shifting position as the hand moves. The changing arrangement catches light from different angles and gives the ring an interactive quality that distinguishes it from a conventional stone-set band. Structured enough to feel architectural yet fluid in use, it can be styled independently or incorporated into a stack where its moving elements provide an unexpected contrast to fixed bands.
