This Ellipse Ring by Aurate uses negative space as its defining design element. Two smooth gold-vermeil curves sweep past one another rather than meeting in a conventional closed form, creating a bypass silhouette that changes subtly depending on the viewing angle. The result feels fluid and almost liquid, with the polished metal doing all the visual work without stones or added ornament. Its open geometry makes it especially useful within a stack, where the curved lines can interact with neighbouring rings, yet the sculptural simplicity is strong enough to make the piece feel complete when worn by itself.
