This Lariat Collector Necklace by Awe Inspired is designed as a modular framework for building and rebuilding a personal mythology. Crafted in solid gold, the lariat includes two hinged charm links that can carry Goddesses, amulets and talismans chosen by the wearer. The lower lariat section can be removed entirely, allowing the piece to transform into a more conventional charm necklace when desired. That flexibility reflects the collector concept beautifully: the jewelry is not fixed, because the story it represents is not fixed either. Add, remove and rearrange symbols as priorities and identities change, allowing the necklace to evolve in step with the person wearing it.
