This Achilles Signet Ring by Awe Inspired honours the bond between Achilles and Patroclus through a darkened signet whose finish feels deliberately aged. The design draws on a story of devotion that continued beyond death, presenting the pair as an emblem of queer love, courage and enduring attachment. Oxidised sterling silver gives the ring a gunmetal appearance more reminiscent of an excavated relic than freshly polished jewellery, reinforcing its historical atmosphere. Substantial proportions keep it assertive on the hand while the antiqued surface makes every recess in the design more visible.
