The Memee Beads Ring in Silver With a Rhodolite Garnet by Sandrine B. translates a deeply personal family reference into a tactile piece centered on repetition and touch. Inspired by the designer’s grandmother’s Catholic cross, small granules are arranged in three groups on either side of a 5 mm rhodolite garnet, recalling the rhythmic beads of a rosary and inviting the wearer to run a finger across them. The rich garnet provides a concentrated center of color while the silver granulation gives the ring its distinctive physical character. Meaning is embedded in how the piece is handled as much as how it appears, making it especially intimate and contemplative.
