This Gold Oval Pearl Ring by Maria Glezelli pairs a luminous freshwater pearl with one of the designer’s most distinctive hand-knitted forms. Recycled sterling-silver wire is worked in a continuous line using Maria Glezelli’s plekta d’oro technique, building an oval dome whose intricate loops create both texture and structural lightness. An 18k gold vermeil finish warms the woven surface, while the flat pearl at the center offers a smooth, glowing counterpoint to the surrounding metalwork. The result feels precious without becoming formal, combining the intimacy of handcraft with the visual strength of a statement ring.
