This Meander Bar by Chandally translates the movement of a river into five stacked waves of gold filigree beneath a broad horizontal bar. The elongated silver surface gives the ring an architectural quality, while an 18k gold wave crossing it reconnects the piece to the organic meandering motif below. Mixed metals heighten the contrast between structure and movement, making this one of Chandally’s more graphic designs. A hidden gemstone can also be customised into the interior, creating a private detail known primarily to the wearer and adding another layer to the ring’s narrative.
Sharón Chandally Pedrini's work carries tradition forward, innovating under the influence of generations. She explores the tension between asymmetry and balance, simplicity and chaos, and synthesizes her roots in Yemenite silversmithing with a uniquely modern sensibility.
