This Icon by Chandally uses an oblong organic silhouette to explore balance through a restrained combination of gold and diamond. A curved 18K gold base leads toward a single white diamond, with small circular gold accents positioned to either side of the focal stone. The asymmetry gives the stud a graceful directional quality while keeping the overall scale compact at under a centimetre. Rather than relying on filigree, the design creates interest through proportion and the relationship between solid shapes and one bright point. Sold as a single earring, it can stand alone or bring subtle irregularity to a mixed ear of simpler studs.
Sharón Chandally Pedrini's work carries tradition forward, innovating under the influence of generations. She explores the tension between asymmetry and balance, simplicity and chaos, and synthesizes her roots in Yemenite silversmithing with a uniquely modern sensibility.
