These Horizon by Chandally turn sunrise and sunset into a kinetic composition of gold, diamonds and fringe. An irregular coin-shaped 18K gold “sun” forms the upper element, crossed by a horizontal line of three small round diamonds, while multiple types of gold chain fall beneath in a layered fringe. The moving chains respond to every turn of the head, giving the earrings a fluid quality that contrasts with the more solid disc above. At 6.5cm long, the pair has clear statement scale. Wear them alone with an open neckline so the symbolic horizon line, textured sun and shifting fringe remain fully visible.
Sharón Chandally Pedrini's work carries tradition forward, innovating under the influence of generations.
