This Hexagon (Small) by Chandally distils the Atlas collection’s old-and-new tension into a compact single stud. A contemporary 3D-printed 18K gold hexagon frames oxidized sterling silver filigree handcrafted through an ancient technique, creating a sharp contrast between precise outer geometry and intricate internal wirework. The six-sided form is associated with harmony, balance and resilience, while the darkened silver gives the filigree greater visual depth against the gold. At roughly 1cm wide, the piece remains subtle enough for everyday wear. Style it alone or within an asymmetric ear where its mixed-metal architecture can contrast with smoother studs.
Sharón Chandally Pedrini's work carries tradition forward, innovating under the influence of generations.
